The world is a chocolate factory and it’s creator is Willy Wonka.
The chocolate factory is filled with temptations and also warning signs. The temptations themselves in essence weren’t bad, but blindly excepting and ignoring the warning and diving head first was. The children wonder why they are being punished or suffering, but they were told not to do the thing.
The world is filled with temptations, not in essence necessarily bad or evil, but when ignoring the warning signs of the creator and overindulging oneself, it becomes a problem.
There are consequences to actions whether you understand them or not.
“I still have many things to tell you, but you can’t handle them now. But when the Friend comes, the Spirit of Truth, he will take you by the hand and guide you into all the truth there is.” John 16: 12-15/ The Message
Let yourself be Charlie who stepped his toe in temptations but was able to step out again, especially after seeing the others and learning from them.
